Those of you in my Trainer In Your Back Pocket's 42 Days to Fit & Feeling Good challenge will soon be learning all about creating a "Morning Routine." This is something that I learned several years ago from author, Robin Sharma, and was re-inspired to create in my own life, via our very own Trainer In Your Back Pocket Tribe Member, Nikki Stern's, Beautiful You Project this past year.
Part of my morning routine is to listen to a podcast about life, business, being a leader, or becoming a better fitness professional. I usually listen while I'm getting ready, drinking a cup of tea (and on occasion, my bulletproof coffee), or taking my dog for a walk. I thought I'd share this brief takeaway from today's listen, because it really stuck out to me, and I just had to write it down before I forgot it!
In Robin Sharma's Master Session Podcast, he said this line:
"They tried to bury me, but they didn't know that I was a seed."
I forget if he was quoting someone else, but that didn't matter. Do you ever feel like other people are trying to bury you? Trying to squash your dreams? Keep you down when you want to rise? Take this simple quote, and remember, you are the seed. Let them bury, and you will grow bigger, stronger, and with more purpose than you could ever have imagined. A seed cannot manifest into a plant unless it is buried!
So, embrace being the seed! You've got so much potential. Sometimes you just need to be buried in order to manifest into the beauty that you're destined to be.
Lots of Love,
